Arjun Reddy lyricist Shreshta speaks out about casting couch in Tollywood

After Tollywood actress Sri Reddy's controversial revelations on the existence of casting couch in Tollywood, another important personality has come forward to tell her harrowing experiences in the male dominated industry.
Noted lyricist Shreshta, who is popular for her work in Arjun Reddy and Pelli Choopulu shared that even lyricists are not spared from casting couch. She revealed that she had to face lot of issues due to the male chauvinism and sexism in the industry.
“I had to postpone my career because of a few bad experiences.Many people have openly suggested to me that I won’t be able to make a name for myself in the industry only with my writing. I have learned over the years that it’s not just men but also women who unabashedly perpetuate such things,” Shreshta was quoted as saying to a portal recently.
